Astec has two multipurpose production sites at Mahad. They are based on 3000 liters to 20,000 liters glass-lined and stainless steel reactors. Typical reactor size being 10,000 liters.

  • The pilot plant has glass-lined and stainless steel vessels of 50 liters to 500 liters capacity. Reactions can be carried out from minus 20 degree C to 250 degree C, distillation upto 300 degree C and vacuum down to 1mm Hg.
  • Distillation systems can handle high melting solids.
  • High efficiency fractionating columns upto 100 theoretical plates are available.
  • All Astec facilities are designed to handle a number of corrosive and hazardous raw materials.
  • These enable Astec to produce quantities ranging from a few kilograms to hundreds of tonnes as required.
  • All production processes are backed by a Quality Assurance System which is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
