Astec LifeSciences Limited received the "Excellence Award" for its contribution in the field of Economic Development and our Promoter and Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Ashok V. Hiremath has been awarded the 'Udyog Rattan Award' on Thursday 18th March, 2010 from one of the country's premier research institutes 'Institute of Economic Studies' (IES) for his contribution to the Economic Development of our Country. The award was presented by Mr. B. P. Singh, Governor of Sikkim at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road , New Delhi .

The awards were presented at a function in the presence of Mr. B. P. Singh, Governor of Sikkim, Mr. Thiru Igbal Singh, Lt. Governor of Poducherry and Shri. S. P. S. Bakshi, Chairman & Managing Director, EPIL amongst others.
